Joe grew up on a farm in Kentucky with dreams bigger than him. After losing both of his parents at a young age, he turned to music to continue finding joy. One of his favorite artists was and still is Elton John, and he drew inspiration for writing lyrics through his music. He had no idea that many years later, his lyrics would come to life through one of Elton John’s band members, John Mahon.

Elton’s influence has played a huge role in not only Joe’s life, but his entire family all the way down to his granddaughter, Kennedy. Kennedy attended her first ever concert with Joe for his Farewell Tour in Nashville in 2022.
